Institutt for psykologi
Floyd Rudmin is a Professor in the Dept. of Psychology at the University of Tromsø. He has a BA degree in Philosophy from Bowdoin College (USA), an MA degree in Audiology from the University of Buffalo (USA), and MA and PhD degrees in Psychology from Queen’s University (Canada). He has worked as a malaria epidemiologist in the Philippines, as an ESL teacher in Japan, and as an audiologist in Quebec prior to academic teaching and research. His main topics of research are acculturation psychology, peace psychology, and economic psychology, always approached from a critical historical and psychometric approach.
